From Telangana to Rajasthan, Bihar to Madhya Pradesh — we are proving that small farmers can win against climate change.
Earlier, we farmed outdoors, facing high costs, low earnings, and endless hours cutting weeds that kept coming back.
Now, in the greenhouse, we use less water and enjoy higher, better quality yields. With hardly any weeds and no harsh sunlight, the work is easier and less laborious.

Previously, I struggled with unstable income due to bad weather, pests, and limited market access. With the greenhouse and hands-on training, my first cucumber harvest earned ₹10,000, more than double my last open-field cycle.
I earned ₹30,000 with marigolds , my second crop. Producing high-quality crops year-round allows me to support my family independently.

Unpredictable weather, high input costs, and low profits made farming difficult. With two 400 sq. m. Kheyti greenhouses, I made over ₹6.7 lakhs across five crop cycles of cucumber, spinach, and broccoli.
With Kheyti’s training, I improved crop rotation, nursery management, and pest control, reducing chemicals and improving quality. I encourage other farmers to do the same.

Weather shocks, pests, and poor returns kept my income uncertain. After setting up a 400 sq. m. Kheyti greenhouse, my first English cucumber crop earned ₹88,600, followed by ₹33,000 (English cucumber) and ₹42,000 (tomato) in the next cycles.

In 2015, four people who care deeply about climate and farming started Kheyti with a simple question:
"What if small farmers had access to the same tools as large farms?"
Today, we are a team of agronomists, engineers, and field workers partnering with thousands of farmers across India.

Recognised in Forbes 30 Under 30, Saumya has over a decade of experience in the social sector. Before completing her MBA from Kellogg Business School, she was the founder of Yellowleaf, a social enterprise dedicated to connecting blue-collar workers with overseas employment opportunities.

A long-serving climate advocate and social entrepreneur, Ayush brings 13+ years of experience in driving innovation and sustainability in agriculture. As the former CEO of CosmosGreen, he empowered more than 8,000 farmers to achieve prosperity through sustainable farming practices.
