Leaping Forward with Confidence
Nimma Yadagiri, Gajwel, Telangana
Problem
- Unpredictable weather patterns
- Frequent pest attacks
- Low and inconsistent yield
Result: Uncertain returns
Crops
- English cucumber
- Tomato
Field area: 400 sq. m.
The Turning Point
In 2023, Nimma decided to move beyond the uncertainty of open-field farming. After years of struggles and losses, he adopted Kheyti’s Greenhouse-in-a-Box.
The Journey
With hands-on training and regular guidance from the Kheyti team, Yadagiri began his greenhouse journey by cultivating English cucumber. The results exceeded expectations. He earned ₹88,600 in his very first crop cycle.
He continued with English cucumber, earning ₹33,000, and then shifted to tomato, which brought him ₹42,000 in profits. Now in his fourth crop cycle, Yadagiri continues to benefit from stable greenhouse temperatures, water-efficient drip irrigation, and robust pest protection.
These advantages have allowed him to grow high-quality, market-ready produce, reduce input costs, and plan his farming cycles confidently.
