- High input costs and inconsistent yields
- Limited opportunities to grow high-value crops
Result: Hard work, but little financial return.

Field area: 400 sq. m.
The Turning Point
In April 2024, determined to turn his fortunes around, Ritik set up the greenhouse and sowed his first chilli nursery crop that very day.
The Journey
Ritik’s first chilli crop yielded ₹1.6 lakh, far beyond his expectations. Encouraged by this success, he grew six quick-cycle nursery crops, including vegetables, watermelon, and cucumber. Over 11 months, he earned a total profit of more than ₹2.8 lakh.
The greenhouse protected his crops from weather extremes and pests while reducing water and chemical use. Guided by Kheyti’s team, Ritik mastered nursery management and crop planning, gaining full control over his farming. With each season, he learned to plan better, minimise risk, and ensure consistent profits.
